Computer came in with PSU fault. It was built in a Fractal Define R5, and guess what? It has a 12V/7V/5V fan speed “controller” built into it!

I recently bought a ghetto 8-way, 2-speed PC fan splitter from eBay. I saw that it had no real components of any kind, other than a little resistor for the LED. Looking at the traces on the PCB, turns out the “low” fan setting uses 5V as ground for the 12V fan(s), thereby creating a 12-5=7V differential.

Sounds awfully dangerous so I’m keeping it at “high”/12V for now.

I've been trying to get more anime viewing into my life lately; not a whole lot has caught my interest recently, though. I watched Adachi to Shimamura last season, and while good, I'm getting sick of yuri that doesn't go anywhere. Before that I watched Yagate Kimi ni Naru which was even worse in that respect.

While not explicitly yuri, there seems to be some hinting at it in the first episode of Wonder Egg Priority. Maybe I'll enjoy it more if there's yuri, but it's not the focus. Also, I absolutely adore the main character.

I can’t remember the last time I followed a currently airing anime...

Normally I jump into a season maybe half way through, just to see if there's some kind of consensus on whether or not it's good, but the main character was just too cute to pass up on.

Looking for a recommendation here.

So I am trapped indoors for a while (health related, but not covid, and nothing serious) and I need something to watch.

I have cut a ton of anime out of my life because so much of what is coming out these days is just the same old tired recycled plots. I honestly don't know what I will do if I see another reincarnation based anime.

I just finished watching The World in Colors and it was truly refreshing. The plot was pretty unique, the animation was well done, the story had a really good pace, and it was super easy to watch and enjoy. Almost reminded me of a miyazaki film in some ways.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be all that popular. In fact, I found it by complete accident.

I am hoping you guys can point out some other hidden gems.

How many of us Project H owners still have a working unit? Mine's still attached to my 252S.

Mee! But I seem to be having grounding issues with my SRM-212. Loud buzzing unless I touch my finger to the case. I remember this being an issue before, so I had to jerry rig a piece of electrical tape to the power connector. That's still there, so I'm not sure why it's doing it now. Oh well...

It started out as a monster of the week style anime, but it's starting to break away from that formula a little. I get a feeling by the end of the series it's going to break my heart like Yuri Kuma Arashi did.
