I could never really get into anime, I've tried, but for some reason I never could. Is there a Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings type anime series?

Record of Lodoss War. Tales of Earthsea.

Do it.

That's just wonky talk... It sure is... TwonQY. It sure is... :l

I'll try giving MS a listen right now then. Dude did die very young.

You know me just a fakkuing weirdo.

But but but....my whole spiel!
Do try out Spiritual State afterward to get rid of dem thick gooey sound and float in the cusps of the cool cool breeze.

Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend fo sho.

No, not really.

I wouldn't google unless you're into demon octopi on lady action

Modal Soul is pretty bangin' on the Flat-4. I can dig it.

Definitely watch Champloo, but the ending is disappointing compared to Bebop. Mugen and Jin were cool, though...
I've had the entire thing on DVD for years, never watched it. Puzzling as I love Watanabe's work, Apollon no Sakamichi not withstanding :l

Edit: Speakin' of MS, I keep rewinding this segment on Eclipse cause I swear the MC is like: "cause it's been weeks, since I felt yo nuts." Someone tell me I'm not going crazy

Aww yeah, more blasphemy :3

Personally I didn't care for the hype either, although as a whole it was a decent show. Bebop sets standards way too high.

Nope.

I'm personally against giving gifts.
You know why useless junk pile up in the house?
People keep giving us stuff we don't even need/use but throwing it away seems like a waste.
If you wanna be nice to your mom, do the chores for a week or something.

That's why I don't like getting gifts unless they're something that I want or have a need for. Same for me giving gifts. Cash is always a good option, since it's flexible.

The ending of Kids on the Slop made me wanna punch myself in the face, Christ

Least we got that awesome rendition of Someday My Prince Will Come... only to segue into Art Blakey's Moanin' for the umpteenth time. Can you imagine if Watanabe worked in some Jazz at the Pawnshop action into Kids just as some meta-****? I'd be howlin' that's for sure

Everyone goes on about Modal Soul but there are plenty of other albums that make Nujabes great. MS was rather dense in terms of composition so if one thinks that's his only sound they'd be heavily mistaken.

What other Nujabes albums are there? I only know of Modal Soul and Metaphorical Music. I have mixtapes/compilations but that's about it.

Jazz at the Pawnshop?

I think I'd kill myself.

Modal choices are good as Evans is my favourite musical artist of all time, but it's still all too much of easy listening from then on.
And dear god that My Favourite Things rendition....*head explodes from prolonged inanity"

Spiritual State is a nice departure. Most of the gold is all in the collabs though.

My Favorite Things was cute, I liked Ritsuko's precarious grasp on English gradually taking shape into something more self assured. Kids had me singing Chet Baker's "But Not For Me" in my car, I'll admit that much, but I sing a lotta weird **** in my car

Oh, and to add to the fact that I'm not a Saya no Uta fangirl, I preordered the English uncensored version from righstuf

Having it shipped to a friend's house though as to not arise suspicion from my family...

Also, looks like there have been 2 internal modifications to the Mad Dog since I purchased mine... D:<
I'm always glad to give Dan my money, but asking for my headphones to go back for 2-3 days, plus 2-3 days shipping each way? Blasphemy! :D

I can't really recall, but I think the Mad Dogs sound cleaner. Thunderpants sounded pretty thick for my preferences.

Ok. Thunderpants scratched off my list.

"It's the thought that counts" as they say. Were I a mother and all my child did was do chores for a whole week brecause of Mother's Day, I would say that's pretty inconsiderate.

Well that's subjective as we all have different customs and traditions.

We actually use the stuff.

I personally like material gifts

You should see how much my room is made up of it
I want to make it a surprise

Wait. Why did theycall you tracey? I thought it was what we called you?

What wrong with your ducky?

I jist realized tht these bonsai trees from this company are being sent live and old. The instructions are so that they send it asap and that you need to water it asap.

Well. Early mothers day present the

Heh, how shallow... (jk)

Then again, I offered to buy my Mom a 1964 Ears custom (I think I had enough for a V3). She then proceeded to yell at me (in a good way) of how I shouldn't be wasting money on audio for her. Jewelry, Clothes....didn't work either. Ended up just spending more time than usual with my mom. Studies and work normally separate us for a good chunk of time during our daily lives. I think she felt alot happier with that than any material gift I could have gotten her. But yea, that's just my $.2

Wow, I didn't even know Spiritual State existed. Thanks. I have The Ristorante Mixtape and Hydeout Productions 1 and 2, are those what you mean by collabs?

Partly. Go a bit deeper. He has some non-internetted old stuff that hasn't even come out through a label yet.
Gotta grab the sources later.

LOL. You know it's bad when you'd rather be caught explaining some sexual paraphernalia you ordered than some wacky eroge VN

lol, there are people here who don't celebrate holidays either? So this is what it feels like when doves cry... Do you guys practice the faith of Jehova and bask in the glory of his majesty Michael Jackson too?

You know what, I think that's enough internet for today. I gotta get work some done :l
