Definitely would love to rewatch poi... bdrip is on local harddisk so there is at least chance, just no idea if that would actually happen orz

Anyway 10 more episodes to finish Cardcaptor Sakura...

Just saw announcement of new Kino no Tabi animation... yet another anime I've been wanting to watch orz

Yeah, the series is fantastic honestly. Deserves every rewatch it deserves.

Yeah I saw that too. If Kino can get another season maybe we can get Spice and Wolf S3

Can't afford that schiit. XD Already went overbudget with this one. Probably should have saved 300 dollars for one with a 960m. Ah well.

The pads are the Arctic Thermal Pads. Such an exciting name.

Basically layered it so the aluminum case became a DIY passive heatsink. The VRMs do not really get that hot, especially on the i5. However, they do inch near a concerning region and it is currently winter, so a little help will do. A 5 cm by 5 cm pad did the trick for me. I was able to layer them 3 times and still have a bit left. However the 9560 and the 9550 are not exactly similar in terms of layout so YMMV depending on which one you got.

Got the pads from Newegg as they had the cheapest ones I can find with free shipping to where I live. Again YMMV. The VRM just need a little help to get the temps down, so cheap pads from ebay may do the trick (didn't test any, don't know for sure. The Arctic ones do work from my experience and that of multiple others). If there's no throttling, then they are not needed. Even a simple undervolt may do the trick if there is throttling, which a few people seem to have gotten.

She needs a hug. (>;_:wink:>

Dell just sent me 74 dollars to use on their store due to buying their XPS 15.

...

I don't need anything. Nor do I want anything. What should I get...

If they had a wireless Deathadder under 100 dollars, with multiple buttons like those targeting MMO players, then I might get one.

Or I can get a gamepad and use it for painting...I'd like to say I'll use it to play Witcher 3 but I don't have time for games this month.

Thought of this for some reason and felt like sharing it.

Hah.

Haha.

Ah ok I see. Thanks!

I don't think my VRMs get too hot but we'll see

Yeah, if it's not throttling, then you don't need it.

Here's the guide I followed anyways. This one is the XPS 9550 with Skylake.

I wonder if they'll let you buy spare parts? Maybe a spare keyboard but perhaps it'll still be much cheaper on eBay.

Oh my god you guys. XDDD

I think I'll get a wifi extender. Having connectivity problems in my room and slow internet. Problems fixed as soon as I walk out the door of my room.

Wi-fi extenders are meh. Just invest in a mesh setup. Plume is good and inexpensive.

This, I've used one before but connectivity was still pretty bad.

Switched to network over mains after that with a second AP in my room but the bandwidth is capped at around 3 MB/s.

I ended up routing a one of those ultra-flat Cat.6 cables into my room directly going through the gap under my door.
