Yup, I've listened to it, and I'll say more about The Beats later (I'm at work now).

they are not out yet... but they are "comparable to BOSE". What?!?! is that meant to be a compliemant. no odubt they will be good, but only $50 or at the most $100 good. with overpowering bass (cos we all are wanabe gangsta with no idea of originality) that muddle out everything.

gautam, I've had a pre-production unit here for a while, and was helping Monster Cable evaluate The Beats by providing my opinions of it (for whatever that was worth to them)

If I read the press release in this thread's first post, The Beats may be available in stores as early as July 25, 2008.

If you click on the photos in that post (which will display larger versions of them), you can see that the fit-and-finish of The Beats pre-production unit I have is quite good.

Again, I'll say more about my experiences with The Beats later.
