I am looking for some headphones for arround £50 (willing to go up if I need too), which I will be using mainly for single player gaming, with some music (mainly bass and dance). I would be using it at home on my pc with fairly modern middle of the line integrated sound.  So far I have been recommended the superlux hd668b, the sennheiser 429 and (mainly) the creative aurvana live but I would love some more opinions/other options. What should I buy?
Edit: Also what would you say are the most important qualities to look for in single player gaming headphones?

Denon d1100 (or the d1001 if you can still get it).
 
Plenty good enough in all areas of concern for gaming audio.
 
I bought mine for £30 but nowadays they go for £50 I think.

The Denon D1001 is discontinued, but the Creative Aurvana Live! is essentially the same headphone and can be picked up for around £50.
 
I'm not a gamer, but it's a great little headphone and extremely good value.

The d1100 is better than the creative aurvana live in my view. I compared both side by side. The d1100 is more comfortable as it has bigger pads and has a more 'wholesome' sound.

Take an eye on Somic MH463, a open headphone with much better stage and positioning than the (more or less) closed Aurvana. Bass is also quite present at rhe Somic.
