Hello!

I'd like a great pair of headphones primarily for listening. On certain occasions, I may also like to use them in music production (mainly electronic/guitars), but this would be a secondary purpose.
  1. Budget of about £150
  2. Best suited to rock/electronica
  3. Sound signature - fairly neutral
  4. Source is an EMU 0202
  5. Slight preference towards open back
  6. Buying in UK

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ad900 (used)?
i wanna recommend some akg's but since your source is the emu 0202 and you didnt mention anything about the amp, so better the audio technica than the akg

The Beyerdynamic DT 150, I have them myself and think they perform really well for rock & electronica, not to mention classical as well, really good 'all-rounder' 'phones if you will, at least for me
