So I am thinking of changing the cable from my Sennheiser HD380 (coiled and thick) to a straight 2-3 feet with possibly ipod control. Any chance that I may lose sound quality if I do that???   thanks

. It is a combination of the sennheiser hd380 pro and the Logitech h150. I use them with the Astros mixamp with it. Sounds a lot better than most gaming headsets.
