Looking for Bass Headphones, Better than Crappy Beats, that "vibrate or rattle" the skull?

I'm no audiophile by any means, just a Teenager who loves the melodic lines of rock guitar, (70 % of the time). Also Love the modern club/dubstep/thumpy bass type (about 30 % of the time). I would like a headphone that will have deep, punchy, melodic bass  that will "rumble" or "Shake" your ears...

I've been tired of going through multiple ear buds. I've gone through Panasonic, Sony, and various other brands that I can't even begin to list. Simply put, it just feels soo useless to go through that many ear buds once more. I've started reading about a few days ago and came across this forum...

Review: Denon AH P372 vs Koss Porta Pro vs M-Audio Q40

I'm going to do a very quick review, so hang on: Design: Well, it's kind of hard to decide because of the difference between the headphones. The Koss Porta Pros are famous and likeable because of their design. They are thin and very sleek, and it's really easy and cool to wear them outside...

Tying up long cords with duct tape (or tape in general)?

I just got a pair of Q40s and the standard 3m cable length is too long for my liking. Right now I just have the cord looped in the middle and kept together with duct tape. Will duct tapes damage the cables in any way or should I look into cable ties/velcro ties?
