This just seems like a really good question to me.  If he filled the inside of the shell with silicon the drivers inside would get some shock attenuation and the silicon would also dampen the outside sound waves further.  I'd really wish he did as those Starkey customs from the other thread...

Does UE or JHA measure the frequency response of each customed earpieces and make adjustments to the drivers for each custom fit?  If so, would there be that much variation to different molding shape?  What about fisher audio, how are their process compared to UE or JHA?  How come people that...

I noticed these two cables share similar characterics, such as both are 99.99998% pure Copper mono crystal with silver plating, Cryo-treated, and over moulding.   Any thoughts if they're actually using the same cable? I guess the only difference is the choice of plugs which Whiplash offers?
