Some RS-1 phones came up for sale but I don't have the ability to try them out before I buy. I am just curious if the RS-1 will have more or less low end than my 325i headphoones? I know the RS-1i is supposed to have a beefier low end but how would the RS-1 compare?

After a few months of changing out various Grado headphones in search of an upgrade from my SR225 (RS1 buttonless, HF1, RS2 vintage, RS1 vintage), I think I'm just gonna keep the SR225 (with TTVJ flats), sell the RS1 and call it a day. Does anybody else prefer the SR225 over the RS1?

I have a 5-year-old pair of RS-1 Grado headphones.  They are in pristine condition. I've probably used the 10 times. I received them as a gift from grado after doing a magazine review of one of their products. They sound great and I hate to part with them. But they are just sitting in my closet...
