I know the "i" in GS1000i means improve but by how much. Is it worth it to get a used GS1000 or the new improve GS1000i ??? Any idea guys? I can get a GS1000 easier than the new gs1000"i" version. Right now I'm using Grado's PS500.

Apparantly the Grado HP-1000 series has a much better reputation (so far) than the Grado GS-1000. If you have both and can do a comparison, what do you think? Also, for all you Grado HP-1000 owners, show some love. Post pics, how much you got them for, etc. Just to share the HP-1000 love.

Phish is live streaming their show in Chicago tonight, and I noticed the drummer put on a pair of Grados for a marimba lumina solo during Scent of a Mule.  They looked like GS1000s to me, or maybe RS1s.  Did anyone else catch this and identify which model he was wearing?

What portable amp would you recommend for the grado gs1000?  I've just been driving them from my iphone and would like some upgrade ideas.

Hi all, I'm looking to switch over from s/s and try tubes for my GS1000's. I was looking for something like a Woo6 or MAD but I could get a fair deal on an ASL MG Head OTL 32. Anybody had experience with this combo or should I hold out for something else?
