fostex t20rp

Is there anyone who owns or has heard both AKG K601 or K612 and Fostex T20rp or T40rp or T50rp? I just listened fostex T20rp mk3 for a while on stock form and they sound nice except the exaggerated bass on voice/speech. I'm not sure if I liked them for its sound or because they're open...
