    Do i need an amp? (Superlux HD 681 EVO)

    I just bought the Superlux HD 681 EVO and they have a low volume and ****ty bass on my laptop. The other headphones that I had (Cheaper ones) they had high volume. Do I need an amp? When I plug my headphones into my TV they lose all the few bass and at high volumes they make a bit of noise.

    5.1 Ear Force DSS with headphone amp in between?

    I am getting an Ear force DSS for 5.1 simulated sound for my cans but also have a headphone miniamp by Behringer called the HA400. If I have the amp between my DSS and my cans(ATH-M50S). Will the amp downgrade the 5.1 to stereo or will it deliver the simulated surround sound? Thanks for any help!

    thought it was a decent purchase, but now that i plugged my headphones into my source card, the headphones don't respond to any guitar strings or have the clarity like they used to.  did i blow them already by putting them into the amp?  please help.  ad700 headphones.
