Testers Wanted: Fiio X5 Mac iTunes music /playlist sync utility

Very nice! I have hacked a couple scripts together for copying my iTunes playlists to SD cards but yours is probably nicer and more complete. Mine does provide a GUI to let me choose what playlists to sync though. Would be good if Dapper could do that as well.

How do you feel about the notion of how I do it now - syncing all playlists with Dapper in the title vs selecting - and whats the background for how you like to do it?

It'd be pretty easy to do... but would add some complexity vs managing the playlists inside iTunes itself... The idea being that ultimately this app will just be an icon in the menu bar and run whenever necessary, essentially being out of the way once configured.

Current UI with file sizes: (Note that this is actual file size vs what it ends up being on a card with the padding that inevitably happens in actual file storage)

I thought the slider was simple and elegant, and was something I had never thought about! The only reason I went with a playlist selector was that my iTunes library wouldn't fit in my SD cards...

Unfortunately I am away from home and won't be able to try Dapper out in a month or so..

Thanks for creating this app. I'm hoping it will make transferring music and playlists to my X5 so much easier. I just installed Dapper, but it doesn't recognize my music library which is located on a secondary drive that I use for storage in my Mac Pro. When I select my library (the folder is named "Music Library"), the button reads "ERROR".

No worries - I made some changes - please check for updates or download again. If you have issues, please click the "Utilities" tab and shoot me a log on support.map-pin.com

I originally created this for my X5 (since replaced) so I am pretty 100% confident it'll hit the spot :)

Just got an x5 cause Apple pissed me of by killing ipod classic. Will try your software tomorrow. A lot of people are looking for classic replacement, and have asked me to write
A review. I will include your software as a Mac syncing utility
