The Timmkoo is more than a MP3 player , it also has the ability to play videos , lossless files and has some useful apps too. Its running a closed system based on a Linux variant and while it does have Bluetooth it does not have a WiFi antenna or the ability for additional apps. Its a media player simple and portable. the Tmmkoo 4″ IPS display played video perfectly. There is no EQ setting and the player doesn’t need one it has a nice transparent quality the allows you to enjoy the earphones or headphone your using, it doe come with some earphones and Timmkoo does manufacture earphones. The included ones are all black and sound. decent having a V shaped signature most would like. I was impressed with the number of accessories , charging cable, data Y cable with micro USB to type C at both ends, a bumper case and screen protector. The device is simple to use and the touchscreen is responsive.
Build quality is great just like a little phone, the UI is as easy to use and brings back memories of the first iPod touch. I was curious about this product when I saw it but now I am very glad I was, what a great little budget DAP for working out or traveling.
