I've used an ISN Audio S16 0.78mm balanced cable with a FiiO M9. Fits well to the earpieces although a different fitting style to the stock cable. Please take what I say next with a pinch of salt. The cable is silver plated copper which does slightly improve the highs. Very heavy duty cable. There is a pure copper and a mixed version of the ISN 16 and both may sound thicker/richer. As I say pinch of salt.
Thanks. I have tried a pure copper cable with the TFZ no. 3 but IMO it made the mids sound thinner so i reverted back to the stock cable. Maybe I will give a silver type cable a try. Thanks for the tips.
Hi @RikudouGoku they are quite different in sound signature actually. The ZS10 pro i would describe it as bright with a deep V shape typical of other KZ models. The ZS10 pro treble is way brighter than TFZ no. 3 and the instruments/vocals are less homogeneously layered IMHO.
The no. 3 is warm/dark in comparison, smoother and less bright, U shaped rather than a V shaped signature. And instruments seem to be more homogenously mixed together in the no. 3.
