Cables make a huge improvement in N3 sound. If you can, try with some high purity cables, preferably copper.

N3AP are hidden gems. I am still trying to find something better but I just can't. I can't recommend them enough. Really worth the money.

@Pawelekdabek For what they do, they are hard to beat. I still have yet to try enough iems that could compete, but from what I've tried, these are the best "fun" iems in my collection.

@FelixTheFylax actually, I have heard the blessing 2 extensively, and the bass never felt anemic to me, it was just the right quantity. Any more and it will be irritating for me. But, the mids and highs were a bit too bright, sharp, piercing, and vocals unnatural. How are they on the XBA-N3?

@Ace Bee Mids are neither forward nor recessed in my opinion and highs seem inoffensive. They are pretty much opposite of the of the Blessing2 honestly. Vocals will never be in your face but not seem unnatural. I think male vocals sound a little better though. The bass might be a big issue for you. It will definitely come off as muddy coming from the Blessing2.

Welcome in the N3 club. A very nice IEM indeed. Stock cable is unusable, but there is the M12SM2. Pricey, but solid.

@F700 Unfortunate as they could have used anything less noisy. I'll definitely take a look into that wire.

Can I check is this model's MMCX connectors propietiary? Some of the other Sony models can't be paired with standard aftermarket MMCX cables.

@baskingshark Thanks for checking it out! Luckily this connector uses a standard MMCX connector so you should be able to cable swap.
