I recently discovered that Sleek has several new replacement cables for the SA6 in-ear headphones. It is a braided cable, there are two versions of the right-angled connector cable, one with a microphone and I believe iPod controls and the other without controls or microphone. I had issues with the human verification software and contacted Sleek about the issue. I was contacted via Facebook, where I had originally voiced my concern. After a few conversations, the Sleek representative offered to send me a free pair of cables because the website was not working properly and I wasn't able to place an order. A few days later he PM'd me that he had sent the cables out priority mail and had also included a second pair with the iPod controls. http://www.sleek-audio.com/new-braided-90-connector-replacement-cable/ I received them today and immediately tried them out, I have yet to test the microphone versions, but I will follow up with that as soon as possible. This should be a superior more durable design. I will do a follow up on durability. So far I am very happy with my new cables, the function perfectly and now I can start using my SA6's again. These can also be used on the SA7's as mentioned in the product description. I have been wanting to get new cables for some time now but there was just nothing available, I must have purchased at least 6 pairs previously, the weak point of the old style cable was the strain relief, the cable ended just inside the relief and would easily separate and break at the edge of the relief, the new cables appear to be sturdier, but only time will tell. They have a nice soft feel with the material used to cover the cables and I did not notice any microphonics from cable rub when I was wearing them. Sleek customer support was exceptional and I went from being very frustrated to completely satisfied, great customer service can make or break a good product, thank goodness Sleek is stepping up and giving us a better option for cable replacement.
