Excellent review! I too, was amazed how polarised the views have been, I agree totally what you have put it above. Although I haven’t been playing with other lower priced IEMs which you felt are better than the TP

Sounds like a solid 2.5 stars

@Spa03 for the lower priced IEM than the TP, at the moment I'm enjoying the Tin T2+ and Blon BL-01

@lgcubana add my score to RikudouGoku's, and that's the average score at the moment

I felt this time Shuoer’s tuning have been different, now with more hours set-in, I felt more and more in love with the TP. I seemed to recall someone saying the same that once you get used to the pro’s tuning (not brain burn-in I’d say) , you start to appreciate it more and more. Now I start to doubt my love to my EJ07! Felt it’s overly bright and too much info... I’m confused as you can see... Will update everyone as further listen on-going.

That's the thing with the Tape: if i only listen to it alone, chances are I'm gonna be fine with it. transitioning from other IEMs to it's necessary to "reset" the ears for a few moments. This Tape Pro is better though, meaning the transition is much faster. yesterday i started listening to it alone and ended up listening for quite a long session.
i feel this Tape Pro is like the Etymotics: some people can't stand them, but those who do would love them

It's interesting that you can consider the highs from TP is extended. It's obviously muted to me. I've ran some tracks to test the cymbals and high hats, gosh really muted.

at the time i reviewed it a couple of days ago, the treble is extended, but not in a sparkly way, but more like harsh, compressed or overdriven type of treble. ootb, the treble extension was more cut off and much more compressed. Now, after a few days from the review, the treble actually becomes more open because the compressed sound is lessened even more, if still present at all
