Is « true gapless » implemented? The M6 and M6pro don’t allow true gapless playback (confirmed my Shanling on the dedicated thread), hence my question. Thanks for feedback and the review.

not yet, Shanling is still working on future firmwares for compatibility with live MQA streaming, Gapless and more

Also wanted to mention Whitigir, even tho my Leonidas cable is out getting repaired, I've been using M3 stock 3.5 cable, and the M3 sounds best on turbomode. low and high gain, the M3 sounds thin and under powered, so it is not always the case IEMs sound best on low or high gain.

Preferences aside, this M8 is built with top of the line from the shelves technologies, including FPGA , Qualcomm 440, AK4499EQ, high currents Op-amps, Elna Silmic II. So, on paper, the M8 is superior to 1Z. Sound preferences can only count when you listened to it side by side. For my own preferences, I would pick up M8 at 1/2 the price for sure

Has anybody in here had a chance to compare LPG or LPG 2017 to the Shanling M8?
