The IE 80S BT builds on the sonic achievements of the audio specialist’s much-loved IE 80S ear-canal headphones to create a wireless model that supports hi-res audio for outstanding accuracy and a breathtaking soundstage. As well as offering wireless listening, the new model introduces connected features such as customization via the Sennheiser Smart Control App and one-touch access to virtual assistants such as Siri or Google Assistant. A smart audiophile product that can be enjoyed anywhere, the sleek neckband headphones are the perfect wireless companion for the sophisticated listener on the move.

Hello everyone, thanks for looking up our IE 80S Bluetooth. It features the same comfortable and popular earpiece as the wired IE 80S, but crucially it adds class 1 Bluetooth 5 in a flexible neckband, with codecs from Qualcomm and Savitech (LHDC), a discrete high quality DAC chip from AKM, and a pair of true Sennheiser Cardioid Microphones (often called noise suppressing or passive noise cancelling) for clear telecommunications. In addition to the bass adjustment dial built-in to the earpiece, the IE 80 S is also integrated with our Smart Control app for parabolic EQ.

LHDC merits further explanation. It is a 900 kbps Bluetooth codec, supported by a growing number of companies, with more info available here:
