SanDisk Sansa e260 4 GB MP3 Player with MicroSD Expansion Slot (Black

BotByte

Headphoneus Supremus
Pros: Thick metal backing, practicly indestructable
Cons: dust, dust, dust, plastic top screen, interface
This was my first mp3 player

I bought this 5 years ago, I guess.

I loved it, it had a thick metal back, an actual movable wheel for interface and volume, easy controls, played audio in amazing quality (back then), and had so many features more then a ipod (back then)

Problems:
The mic button is finicky and if you touch it, the music stops and it records. It'll take you around ten miniutes trying to get out of recording
The plastic screen collects scratches.
The expansion never worked for me, i didn't really care
The expansion slot sucks in dust and places it directly on the screen
the wheel is finicky
the buttons are hard to press
the buttons wear on the top cover, before it died, i could just touch around the buttons to use it
To large of a plug it for what usefullness it has
hold slider was small and stuck into place to hard

This thing lasted for around four years, before it didn't want to take a charge. I tore it apart and searched inside. Nothing worked.
I had to retire it

I still haven't found a replacement
