Sadly, I must disagree. I bought the T10i on the strength of early previews / reviews and I am sorely disappointed. The bass is overpowering even when using the treble boost filter. Further, the bass is slow and muddy. It makes bass guitars and drums sound the same, just thud, thud, thud.
I like good strong bass but it has to be clean with some balance to the rest of the spectrum. By contrast, I recently got the Sony Z5s. Not a fair comparison, but those have great, deep bass and nice balance.

The Sony are about three times more expensive too.
