Great Read. Answered many of my questions. Ill keep my Altone 200 for now. I think my next attempt at a hybrid will be the Dunu 2000j ; It sounds as if the bass will benefit the most from the update with the new driver coating.

for 2000j , looking at tomscy2000's review it's a different flavour. It sounds like it will make the 2000j bass faster, but it didn't sound like the tuning will be similar to H300, at least overall.

nice review.  i had the same worries as far as price being increased when there's other proven hybrids out there for $100 less or more.

Shame. Sounds nice until I look at the price. I have no idea how they placed a value like that on it!

regarding the build quality, the demo unit shell split last nov didn't bother sending it back like i did with h300 , just had a friend glue it with quality glue. He seemed to think there's little wonder the on polished titanium glue join is not bulletproof
