Just curious if you could explain more about the issue you had with low impedance low sensitivity iems? And how bad is the battery drain? Thanks for the write up.
basically low impedance low sens iems like final iems and sony ier series are usually much harder to drive and needs gobs of power compared to other iems (e4000 and e5000 are notoriously power hungry for example). but since they have a low impedance and M12 detects the impedance load only for its auto gain system, it runs at low gain mode whereas high gain is actually needed. An impedance adapter might solve the issue.
the battery drain is serviceable, not the worst offender. This is a problem associated with all high end dongles. You gotta sacrifice some battery juice for that sweet sound quality.
hey, want to ask, is your M12 experience some clicking when plugging in the device to PC or phone? also when playing or pause next track with UAPP android app.
i just bought this device and experiencing this clicking noise only on the right channel, using latest FW 8587
No mine is working fine. no such issue. have you contacted the seller for warranty? My iems and headphones are all harder than usual to drive. This click/pop might be and issue with highly sensitive iems as well.
