Great review. I believe this and the near-twin Onkyo have not received the attention they deserve. Great features, very workable UI, and wonderful sound.
I own the Onkyo version of this DAP, and it is stellar. While I have not compared the two, the Onkyo does not seem to have a relaxed or laid-back sound signature. Cheers.

I just got one and like it but would like to know how it stacks up the the new FiiO M9, sound quality wise?

I have a Japanese one, so it does not have Tidal in the Online services, do some one know if I can put other firmware different to the japanese one? Thanks a lot!
