Overall Impressions
I had big expectations when i bought it about 5 years ago, in my very young eyes it looked cool. Because back in the day you did not see that many earphones with the around the ear design. (not in South Africa at lest)
They are comfortable to an extent, i give you that much. Although even having the around the ear design and it came with a couple of different sizes rubber tips they keep falling out of my ear, does not matter what size tip i use. It only hangs on because of over ear loop. I have no clue why they love to jump out of my ears. Even if not at gym, go figure.
The cable is ok until the split, they do get tangle easily but they are very flexible and not in your way for any activity. However after the split they are very very thin. Also surprisingly brittle, they have a couple of cracks and I'm just waiting for them to snap. I do take care of my things VERY WELL, like almost paranoid to have my things lasting forever, so i doubt it was miss use.
They do not isolate much sound, but its to expect using the rubber tips.
Sound Quality (what really matters)
B A D. Bad...
They are loud enough, very low impedance allow for ear bleeding volumes. They will cry instead of bleed tho, the sound is just as inaccurate as a cow playing cricket (as you may have notice no cow makes the top teams, LOL)
They also have a plastic sound, like a very cheap disposable headphone, something you might expect if you where to listen to a airplane set.
*Bass
Inexistent. Its quite amazing how they managed to take all the bass out of the frequency range. They should be commended for that amazing feat to be honest.
*Mids
Ok enough, maybe because their frequency range starts on the mids you can hear the vocals quite in your face
*Highs
Soooooo much!!! Very very up top, you will hear all the tsss you can. Very inaccurate as well, very slow diagram, so yeahhhh.... Just terrible...
*Sounds Stage
Flat, no sparkle. Just a big mess of noise popping around.
Verdict
If you find them for cheap on a stranded island and they maybe came with a free beer. SURE, why not...
Otherwise sick to your Apple or Android stock option.
The only reason i can see anyone buying this is if you really want something that will hang on your ear and sound quality is not really of great importance. (or you never had a chance to hear them before, like me)
