I think if they tweak the mid drivers up and treble drivers down on Mk4 they may be on to a real winner. Though some buyers said the sound-staging was a bit weird /DSP'y un-natural style and I'm not sure mids/treble tuning will fix that issue....better MMCX integration will help as well. Great effort so far from another DIY Hybrid scene designer.

Great review, but i have heard the tuning on the Shockwave III can be weird and induce a phaser sort of effect. Do you experience this with yours?

@vapman I did not experience that. Overall it did have somewhat of a surround sound but that just made the appeal much more. Was something very different.
