One question: Do the tubes glow as much with the little dot?

The glow factor would very much depend on tube themselves, but in general not very much (still decent enough for a good appeal), and the 1+ only supports three families of small 6 volt tubes.

great review! can I ask you which ef91 mullards did you like with planars and why? Is it the 8083?

Yeah, EF91 & 6HM5 particularly shine with planars, due to their airy & accurate sonic character, which matches and makes up for slightly intimate soundstage of all planar cans in general.
 
The variant I have on EF91 is "6AM6S" & ofcourse there are other variants "M8083 "CV4014" which I havent tried out.

I have a little dot MK V, it sounds very good with my DT990. must say little dot is really nice and cheap~

I've said it before, LD does not get enough recognition on head fi.  That chassis however, especially the volume pot in my experience is not super sturdy.  Besides that it is a really good value.  I really like the EF91 or was it ef92 on my LD MK2.  I used it as a preamp in my speaker system for quite a while. It performed well indeed.

LD deserves full attention because of the performance and value it delivers. Infact, each every model in LD brand has maximum value and performance deliverance accordingly.
