purchased these headphones for about 5$. they lasted a little under a month before they started cutting out in the left ear. I was very careful with them and did not treat them poorly. I tested the audio device with different headphones, and tested the headphones on other devices to make sure the problem was not stemming from something else.
I recommend spending a little extra for your headphones, or looking in to a different brand. 5$ is not a lot of money but I would have expected them to last at least a year.
