Absolutely wonderful review. Fully fleshed out and really well done.

I have the Magni myself, and your striking "share/contrast" re women is just perfect IMHO. Spot On. My LSA HP-2 Ultra's are on the way to me in Texas. I cannot wait to hear them.

Nicely done sir...

Best wishes,

Mark reach out to me regarding the LSA HP2 - I have been in touch with the owner from Kennerton- and I can just say briefly here right now- I made some modifications to the Gjallarhorn that may be put into production for a new model. I can't go too much into it now- I make no money from this review or the mods- I just like to make things better than how I received them- and I made two mods that elevate the Ghorn into hands down my now favorite headphone of all time- if you are addicted to getting your medicine from music like I am- these slight mods make the Ghorn into something truly breathtaking-

they no longer have that live lingering note sound as described in the review above- but are now more pinpoint and accurate more so than the Magni with more dynamics and detract nothing from pure listening pleasure. I will be getting to a new review of the same model Ghorn to showcase these refinements and changes that truly hold my mouth open wide in amazement- jaw dropping wholly sh@t balls better than any other dynamic headphone I ever heard period.
I don't want to upset the owners of Kennerton to say more without approval so to speak on these changes, but the Ghorns are now class leading giants in my humble opinion.

Nice review. I am still curious about that "horn" feature. Is there some pictures showing the setup inside or have they just tuned it to sound more like horn speakers? I guess the drivers are further away from the ears or they use the bulge to create more reverb inside the cup thus the increased sense of soundstage to make it sound more lively? But that is not the case anymore with the rev2 and it´s now more similar to the magni?

I know they show picture of set up of Ghorn on their web site that you can slide back and forth
The wood is scooped up like a horn
It does have same driver set up as Magni
