Intro
I decided to rewrite my review because I realized I might have done a disservice by using the stock tips, which I now believe were a bottleneck for these IEMs. Stock, it feels like Intuaura was trying to be both musical and technical—not an easy feat at this price range ($149). While their efforts were commendable, I felt the Luna ended up with an identity crisis. I think they should've put their big boy pants on and fully committed to musicality, as the potential to be a soothing, natural-sounding IEM is clearly there. I get it—it strays pretty far from the ‘meta,’ but for those tired of the same old signature, this might be the one.

After plenty of trial and error, I believe I’ve found the perfect tips for the job: the JVC Spiral Dot++ (EP-FX10). The Divinus Velvet works well too, but I prefer the Spiral Dot++. It balances the bass and treble and brings the timbre close to perfect. Here’s my updated take after spending more time with the Intuaura Luna Plume:

Bass
The bass is a balance between fun and clinical, with more focus on slam than rumble. The decay hits the sweet spot, offering just enough without overstaying its welcome. There’s also a satisfying amount of weight, providing body to the sound while maintaining clarity.

Midrange
In one word: stunning. At this price? It's insanity. The midrange is rich, clean, and crisp, with phenomenal timbre — it’s the reason you’ll buy these. Love vocals, guitars, cellos, or violins? Look no further.

Treble
The treble is sparkly yet smooth. It’s not laid-back, but it never crosses into harsh territory. As someone who’s treble-sensitive, it works for me. There’s just enough air to enhance the richness without becoming sharp. Cymbals sound alive but not grating, and there’s no sibilance or metallic quality.

Soundstage
While not its strongest suit, it isn’t bad at all and can still convey an out-of-head experience. The width doesn’t extend much, but there’s reasonable depth.

Layering & Separation
Despite the slightly intimate soundstage, instrument separation is excellent. Whether it’s rock, classical, or pop, you can easily pinpoint individual elements, and nothing ever feels muddled.

Micro-Detail Retrieval
Micro-details aren’t in your face, but they’re easy to pick up due to the balanced tuning, so you won’t feel like you’re missing anything.

Conclusion
If you’re like me, you’re tired of the Harman "meta," which often features thin mids and sharp treble, sacrificing timbre and organic-ness. If you’re looking for a smooth, balanced sound with rich mids and natural tonality, give this a shot.
