How does the sound compared to sansa clip

ahh I'm sure that's the other big comparison many people will be looking for. Unfortunately its been so long (two years maybe?) since I've heard a clip. I'll be sure to post some comments if I happen to come by one though.

Awesome review! I've been to purchase one for myself when it's released but I don't know how well its audio performance would suit me. Do you know if any X1s are still available for audition? I'd be very interested in reviewing it. Thanks   

I got a chance to demo the X1 as part of a pre-release review tour that Fiio put together. I'm sure if you talk to a Fiio rep here on head-fi, one of them could direct you to where you could purchase them or possibly demo them if there's a store nearby once they've officially been released.
