@Dsnuts i had an eye on those for some time now......just need that BASS desperatelly........
own EST 112 and love it's wide spacious stage allready but are the Vulcans bigger/larger than the EST 112 in dimension?

Canon has the advantage of tuning options that actually works but its stock tuning is a balanced mild V signature and its mids timbre is more BA in what it does. Canons advantage is that through use of its multi BAs for mids it has a more dimensional sound presentation. The Vulkan on the other hand while is also a mildly balance V signature is much more bigger sounding with the bulk of its timbre coming from one of the dynamics. Is less dimensional but has a wider stage more impactful bass with that bloom I talked about on my review. Special in how it sounds vs Canons bass.

Tunings on both sets are energetic but I would say the Vulkan has a leg up on is bass presentation with warmish mids and its grand stage presence. The canon is more dimensional and a bit more intimate vs Vulkan but more versatile due to all the tuning options.

Amy thoughts in terms of dunu sa6 comparison. I have the sa6 but wonder if it would be overkill to look at these…thanks
