Very good review. While there is no hint on the price, and I assume it's "up there", it appears from your impression that the money goes to the right places. Does it have pre-amp outputs? Thanks

The Soul's outputs are digital (so you can apply its DSP and use a separate device for DA), balanced line-out (XLR pre-amp output), and balanced headphone amp (standard 4-prong). As mentioned in my review, I used both pre-amp and headphone outputs.
Last I heard, the price was estimated to be north of USD $3k but not yet determined, depends on production volume.

Thanks can full relate to your review. Have heard the Soul myself several times throughout the development process and it has grown to a class in its own. Highly recommended for serious headphone music lovers.
