I own 2 of these currently. My first set the volume control broke causing them to completely stop working. My second and third set are currently being used in my home studio.
The ear pads on the second set has finally given out. Needing to replace them. Which isn't very easy to do, since the type of ear phones they are seem to be specialized for
this design. I love the fact I can actually hear everything in the songs. I used to work in radio, which had higher quality audio mixers than I use at home. But I cannot tell
the difference with these headphones. My first set purchased about 1999/2000. Second and third set purchased about 2004. I absolutely love these headphones. It's a shame the
manufacturer has discontinued these, as they really have a supreme audio quality which I haven't heard from any other headphones.
If you wish to purchase these, I say do it. You will be pleasantly surprised at the high quality sound. Odd how I can hear a member of a group laughing in the background of a song
