The Cary Audio Nighthawk is a very capable premium audiophile headphone amplifier.

Although quite minimalist, in that there is NO extra low/high gain,ect. it DOES deliver in the most important area.... qualty sound.
Cary Audio no longer makes this solid state MONSTER of an amp, though they do have a hybrid/tube model currently available.
