I didn't realize I could not sell these here. I needed to generate more content apparently and will be doing so now.

I think there is just as much air, but the slightly more U-shaped sound signature may mask some of that on certain tracks. For me, the green Andro's have a perfect balance of air and a fairly flat signature. I would see if you could demo the Solaris first if you like the sound of a BA design like I do. My Lyra II's seemed to be somewhere in the middle between the gold and green with the signature, but the imaging and sound-stage was very different being a single dynamic design. One more comment on the gold's, they have the best low frequency response control I have ever heard in an IEM or even a headphone.

Does anyone know how the Andromeda Stainless Steel version fair against the Emerald Sea version?
I haven't done a A2B comparison but I owned the Emeralds for many years and - like most reviewers - really enjoyed their balance across the tonal spectrum, only finding them a little light in the bass on some (mostly BeBop) recordings. They were light and comfortable too. Since replacing them with Fathoms (which I find generally richer and more suited to the full, rich sound I was looking for) I've also listened to the steel Andromeda. Bear in mind I'm comparing them to the Fathoms as much as the Emerald Andromedas (my ear's memory is fading, I guess)... I thought the Steel Andromedas were even lighter in the bass than the old green ones and although capable of accurate renditions of, for example, delicate classical passages featuring flute and violin, I wasn't wowed by their impact or soundstage as much as I thought I should have been. For rock and metal, I would imagine they would sound tiring after a while. Just my ears, mind... YMMV.

I personally prefer a rolled off treble. Humungous amounts of mid bass and forward vocals. I am quite averse to sibilance or harshness in the highs. Too much sparkle is not my cup of tea.
I take it that campfire fathom might be up my alley.
I have ordered the Bonneville and am reading good things about clara.
I have been hooked to CA ever since I heard the atlas. Barring the driver flex, the fit and harshness in the highs I like every bit of it.
Loved the CA timbre and nuanced sound.

Interesting - I listened to the Atlas at CanJam London and found it quite aggressive and a little bit muddy. You're right - it's very mid-focused and not at all trebl-ey. You'll most likely love the Bonneville if that's your thing. Try the Fathoms if you get the chance - for me they just 'spread out' the sound a little bit more than the single driver options.
