Unfortunately I don't own the MX, but AFAIK, Blox BE3 and Edifier H180 are now the kings of earbuds depending of what you are listening. Both of them have V signature but with good mids even if not enough present like E100. I'am not using E100 anymore, I much prefer Edifier H180 now which is my king for now (I prefer them over BE3 in term of soundstage, and I like their highs not airy as BE3 for pleasant and long listening). Moreover, it's one of the cheapest of all budget earbuds. I really advice you to give a try, you can't go wrong with H180. Highly recommanded!
