My system Win10>HD-DAC1>AQ-King-Cobras>Parasound Zamp v.3>ProAc Tablettes.

First the FLAC with the ASIO on Foobar is clean, with very detailed and wide sound stage with the Tablettes tweeters at ear level.
 
Secondly, being a Head-fier I had to get headphones and the Austrian second hand K702s do it justice. Superb imaging, not the deepest bass
but definitely livable with.
 
BANG! This is the sound of the DacMagic Plus hitting the recycle bin in the garage after years of cutouts, hisses and pxxx poor customer support.
 
Proud to admit we are now a Marantz only household with two receivers, AV processor, reference SACD player, and now this beauty.

My Chinese DacMagic Plus started well but audio cutouts and hisses were plaguing it within 3 months, sent it back and was declared fit, resent it and apart from fancy explanations no help after loud buzzing started at every other startup. I could also replicated problem on another system.
 
I got tired of going deaf and ruining my speakers for 2 years, so I threw it in the trash can.
 
Update: Thank you all for comments. For my consolation the HD-DAC1 replacing it is working flawlessly in the same system.
