CKS line improves the main problem of traditional audio technica products which was bass. CKS50 did not focus on the quantity but the quality of bass, it does not have the quantity for hard rock music but it was tight and powerful enough for pop-rock also it still have the sweet mids like audio technica do which makes my perfect choice for j-pop female vocal.

I concur - it's good for the money, but they stick out quite a bit. What tips do you use? I think they do a heck of a job with my ipod vid w/rockbox and flac files. Just a bit of tweaking with the eq and they do quite well. Definitely not a comfortable iem for long listening sessions or lying on your side, though. At least they don't get in the way when I have my helmet on...
