2. All right Now - FREE

3. Anybody's Answer - Grand Funk Railroad

4. Anthem - Rush

5. Beat To Death Like a Dog - Rhino Bucket

6. 2 Minutes To Midnight - Iron Maiden

7. The River - Badlands

Note :

I paired the Jomo Skyline with Verus Lavender 6 Upgrade cable along with Divinus Velvet Eartips. Skyline needs just a moderate Amping to get its full potential. So I paired it with Xduoo XD05 plus with my DAP.

SOUND IMPRESSIONS :

Jomo Skyline has a very peculiar Balanced type of Sound Signature. The tone and timbre are pretty much on the Natural side with my prefered sources, cable and Eartips. One thing is clear this transducer blends well with a warm sounding source.

Note weight are thick enough. Vocals and Instruments sounds " LUSH " to my ears. Most of the Instruments are placed just a tad bit forward, but the Vocal stays right at the center. Such type of tuning are seldom seen these days. But its a very subjective thing, some people may enjoy such a tuning but some may not. But for me I really enjoy such type of tuning.

Kick drum as well as Snare drum slams pretty hard. One thing I noticed on most of the tracks I tried, is that the High hats sounds so prominent that it seems like it was placed a a little higher above all the instruments and it can be heard all throughout the tracks. Or these things might me due to its wider soundstage accompanied by its excellent Layering capabilities.

It has got that LUSH vocals. Just a little hint of warmth in the vocal region makes it sounds so sweet. Guitar notes are so pleasing to hear. String instruments sounds amazing on the Jomo Skyline, almost tends towards the Natural side.

The Low Frequency region on the Jomo Skyline is pretty tight and well controlled. It has got a good textured Bass which in turn gives a very good quality Bass response. Although the emphasis is mostly on the Midbass area. Kick drum as well as Snare drum slams and thumps pretty hard. It has got that authoritative nature on the Midbass region.

Subbass isn't lacking, but it depends on tracks that i listened. It has got somewhat big and bold Subbass Rumble. But that Subbass rumble will appear when call upon.

As I mentioned it clearly focus on the Midbass region, so one thing to notice is the decay of Bass note is on the shorter side. The Low frequency region on the Skyline has got a fuller body with decent authority in it.

When it comes to the High Frequency region, I would say that the Upper Treble region nicely done. It's well extended but not to the point that it feels fatiguing or bright. It sounds clean and clear with enough crispiness and sparkle, which in turn gives the listener a very pleasing and energetic treble without any harshness.

Cymbal strike and High hats sounds very prominent and lively. I mostly enjoy some of the guitar riffs on the Jomo Skyline. Let's say " All right Now " by Free, the slow guitar riff on the first intro sounds very natural with lots of sparkle.

The sound reproduction is so clean and clear that I almost repeat the same track like 3 or 4 times. Its very addictive. The best part with this particular track, is the cymbal strike sounds so natural, its very satisfying with all those sparkle. Seems like I'm sitting in front of a Gig listening very closely.

When it comes to its Technical abilities, it produces a top notch Technical Power.

Soundstage is pretty wide, especially the width. Imaging is top notch and its very precise. The best part is I can easily pin point the instruments from where they are coming. The Left to Right localization of instruments are very addictive to listen.

Its very Airy. There is enough space between the instruments. Even in some fast and busy tracks, the instrument separation is excellent.

IMG_20241227_183954.jpg

It sounds wide open with more than enough width and depth in its sound presentation. these in turn gives the listener to focus on many instruments one at a time with ease, which we can get such a sound presentation only from a Top Notch Flagship IEM.

Details and Resolution are excellent too, can easily pick up all those micro nuances with ease.

Jomo Skyline is a very capable IEM when it comes to its Technicalities. I'm really impressed the way it produce such a top notch technicalities.

Conclusion :

Jomo Skyline is a very capable IEM when it comes to its Technicalities. I'm really impressed the way it produce such a top notch technicalities. The most striking thing that i noticed when I first tried it was its spacious soundstage along with its precise Imaging. If anybody is looking for an All rounder IEM with great Bass response along with Top notch Technicalities, then can consider the Jomo 408H Skyline.

What’s the fit and isolation like? Would it be possible to achieve 25 db or more of passive isolation with the right tip?
