Good review, thanks. Here is some background on 1more, they are a startup with backing from Xiaomi. http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2015/08/26/1more-chinas-answer-to-beats/
“Our strategy is to offer premium quality audio devices at mid-range prices. We want to be the Lexus in the global audio market, not Toyota or BMW,” Gary Hsieh, 1More co-founder and chief executive told The Wall Street Journal in a recent interview.
I wonder how different are they in sound signature when compared to the Xiaomi Quantie hybrids, since, I believe, 1more are the original makers for Xiaomi.
Curious....i see you have not added these into your inventory on your profile. Should you decide to add these...where on the list (favorite to least favorite) would you position these? I just bought a pair btw...so i play the waiting game. It was a toss up between these and the shure se215...i still hear the shures have too much bass though so i bought these.
Hi Vince - if this is the same as the 1More Voice - and the graphs look pretty close, then it is indeed a pretty nice sounding IEM. This pair is a lot more blingy than the pair I had (http://www.headfonia.com/review-1more-piston-earbuds-voice/). The earbuds were pretty bad - but I really liked the IEMs. Great review mate.
I purchased the 1more triple driver. Are you getting any cable noise? Even breathing elicits noise along the cable and can be heard in the IEMs(this is with simple t-shirt). If I pull the cable away from my clothing it goes away. UGH
I purchased the 1More triple driver and the sound was really nice nearly on par with my Fidue A73. They needed a little more volume to hear the details but a warmer sound and in some ways preferred them to the A73 BUT the microphonic and "cable noise" was too distracting for me. I could hear my own breathing just sitting and listening to music especial if I took a deep breath. I could be ultra sensitive but the A73 has 0 microphonic issues in comparison.
I don't know how long it will last, but the gearbest link you posted at the top of the review has a flash sale going on right now for $37.19. Very good deal at that price; I just bought several pairs to give as gifts.
