I've been struggling to get anything more than about 1.2tb to work - can you please explain in simple terms what this quoted section means, if you'd be so kind? Even at 1.2tb I've found everything to be hugely unstable

Well this is disappointing. Mine simply will not work. Upgraded the firmware but I just get a black screen with ""Updater V1.1" and a message to "Insert TF pls". Inserting a card does nothing. Tried it with multiple PCs and it's not even registering as a device. This will be going back I'm afraid.

Often if the differences are small, it's because of slightly blocked mesh on the earpiece - have you already checked the nozzle to see that nothing is possibly causing it? (Even small obstructions can create an imbalance)

It has AAC but this is a bit of a step down from LDAC (at least technically - we can argue all day about what can and can't be heard, of course). BTR7 codec capabilities are AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX adaptive/aptX HD/LDAC (source - Fiio website)

I'll be doing a full review of the KK at some point, but I have been using it a lot over the last three weeks or so (my original unit got lost by Fedex - big love to the Noble team for sorting out a replacement for me so quickly). Anyway - in a nutshell, the KK is the best IEM I've ever heard...
