Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread
I've been struggling to get anything more than about 1.2tb to work - can you please explain in simple terms what this quoted section means, if you'd be so kind? Even at 1.2tb I've found everything to be hugely unstable- doctorjuggles

Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
I was trying to remember his name a few days ago - I believe it was all tongue-in-cheek but I’m still not 100% certain to this day 😂- doctorjuggles

Selling an iBasso DX160 (the original 2019 version) as I use a Hiby RS2 Darwin No major marks/scratches - photos should confirm this (the little marks you can see are air bubbles on the screen protector which has been on since it was shipped from the factory). https://ibasso.com/product/dx160/...- doctorjuggles

Selling a pair of Verum headphones. Most people will know them as either Verum 1 or Verum 1mkII However, I have an "in between" version - original Verum 1 has a pair of 2.5mm cable jacks for the headphone cable, this one has the newer 3.5mm version (which means far more cable upgrade options...- doctorjuggles

Someone on eBay seems to have figured out how to, but I’ve never got a rockboxed iPod to recognise anything above about 1.3tb or so.- doctorjuggles

My KR5 don't either but I don't think they're haptic (or not in the same way) - it's a different tech. Someone far more knowledgeable on the varying techs will have to chime in though as I'm very much not an expert - but I noticed it on the prototype Jomo at London CanJam too. So I think it's a...- doctorjuggles

This is a review I’ve been meaning to get to for several months now. Well this is disappointing. Mine simply will not work. Upgraded the firmware but I just get a black screen with ""Updater V1.1" and a message to "Insert TF pls". Inserting a card does nothing. Tried it with multiple PCs and it's not even registering as a device. This will be going back I'm afraid.- doctorjuggles

Often if the differences are small, it's because of slightly blocked mesh on the earpiece - have you already checked the nozzle to see that nothing is possibly causing it? (Even small obstructions can create an imbalance)- doctorjuggles

RAZ's TOTL review and rambles thread, on life support
It has AAC but this is a bit of a step down from LDAC (at least technically - we can argue all day about what can and can't be heard, of course). BTR7 codec capabilities are AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX adaptive/aptX HD/LDAC (source - Fiio website)- doctorjuggles

I'll be doing a full review of the KK at some point, but I have been using it a lot over the last three weeks or so (my original unit got lost by Fedex - big love to the Noble team for sorting out a replacement for me so quickly). Anyway - in a nutshell, the KK is the best IEM I've ever heard...- doctorjuggles
