Is the RSA Predator similar in size to the SR-71A?

I've owned the AKG K271S, but sold them because I didn't like their "bright" sound. Ended up buying Senn. HD650 after that. It has been about 8 months since I first used my HD650 and I can't be happier. From reading your post, it is obvious you are far ahead of me, lol. I need to catch up!

True Apple wouldn't do it, but I do think it would be cool if Xin or RSA would create such a product. It'd probably be insanely expensive, but then again this hobby isn't cheap anyhow. I'm guessing that a product like this would be $1,500+.

I have an iBasso D1 (DAC/Amp combo) and it drives my HD650 okay. I just added a Ray Samuels Audio SR-71A to my portable setup. I guess what I'm trying to say is that my iBasso can drive them, but there's more to be desired from them. Never tried any other iBasso product, so I'm not sure if...

I have one question though. There are magnetics that hold the flap of the case closed when in the close position. Would this affect the amplifier in any way? I haven't noticed any issue, but just wondering...

I too sent payment for a Grey SR-71A recently. Hopefully RSA isn't out of the grey ones... I'm definitely excited about this purchase. My first experience with a RSA product was with a Tomahawk. I just loved the sound signature of that amplifier. Can't wait to try the SR-71A.

Haven't received my VRAY prime interconnect yet, so I'm using a radio shack mini-to-mini. But so far the Diablo sounds good. Can't say it's great, but I'll definitely give it more time. This is my first separate portable amplifier. P.S. I am running the Diablo with my iRiver H132CF to iBasso...
