This is an issue on the client-side. Not a problem with Head-fi. I believe if you use Malwarebytes (linked in the post above me) or HijackThis you'll find certain trojans/viruses/malware in your computer.

Yup it makes sense, don't worry! If it helps I do think that you should borrow or audition a pair of CKM90's. To me they're more "fun" than the M50, it has a fuller sound compared to the M50 and does great for listening to most types of music.

I upgraded from CK7's to the CKM90's. If you can get it for 106$ I think its definitely worth it. For your genre of music choices, CKM90 should fit you well (:
