I pretty much hate them (as expressed earlier in this thread) and would be happy to get rid of them. 

Arrived. Carbon lim ed.  Underwhelmed by the SQ. Much worse than my Audio Technica M 50s. Which are less than half the price.

I listen to the same type of music also. Plus some jazz. Etymotic is spot on.

I actually own MC5 and I'm pretty fond of them. Last 6 months I've been using Klipsch X10i as my portables,but I'm going back to MC5's.    Lifeless? I wouldn't say so. Accurate - yes. And comfortable.
