I'd take the Headroom Micro (DAC&amp) stack (I had the Coda&Overture). That is if we talk about the best. But you won't need your soundcard. Amp only I'd take the Supermacro without a doubt.

MBQuart QuartPhone 160 I wanted to buy some sony plugs when the seller recommended me to think of getting MBQuarts. That was the only time I really was feeling the audio WOW. R10, L3000, PS-1 and other giants are much better, but I don't think I'll have that WOW effect again.

Any in-ear phones are not for me. Owned Etys, Sonys, B&O etc. and auditioned Shure. I also just can't stand them. You could buy some nice clip-ons though. Koss ksc-35/75 for example.
