Pre-purchase Grado SR-60 worries...
You won't have any problems. Once you've got the headband all bent right and the pads softened up (which might take some time, but it'll happen,) you'll forget you're wearing them. they're so light, and my old pads are so soft, it's like wearing a pillow. And don't worry about the bass. It's...- reeseboisse

Neuros III developer board in production - specs
Headroom Coda/Overture, iRiver H3*0, what looks like 580s with 600 screens, and some nasty cables. My Neuros II is huge, and if the III is any smaller, it would be great. But, I'm going to get one regardless of the size, because they're just so sweet!- reeseboisse

Do Grados really have (relatively) non-existant soundstage??
well, that's probably why most pop and rock doesn't have much of a soundstage...- reeseboisse

Open air headphones + Speaker system = amazing?
It's not really that amazing. You can kind of hear the speakers, but it's not like there's suddenly a magical soundstage.- reeseboisse

Are canal phones that much better?
Well, like all other headphones, all IEMs sound different. As for source, you can listen to them out of anything you want, and it'll probably sound fine. IEMs are efficient, as they're usually made to work out of either a wireless belt pack that performers use, or out of a portable player...- reeseboisse

How do would YOU describe "headphone soundstage," and other popular terms.
The soundstage is the area from which it seems sounds originate. For instance, with Grados, it sounds like all the sound is either inside your head or just outside of it, wheras with some other nice cans, it seems like certain instruments come from a few feet away from your head. If someone says...- reeseboisse
