Any suggestions- Archos Jukebox not working with X-DAC

The line-out of the Archos is analog. A digital output would have been explicitly specified.

Catch 22 - Joseph Heller Brave New World - Huxley The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Adams (all parts) For non-fiction: Tao Te Ching by Lao Tse. It's hard to read but very rewarding, he's the greatest mind in history in my opinion.

    Suggestion for signatures

I think it would be a good idea not to mention any audio equipment in one's signature. When someone searches the forums for headphone XY, he sure isn't looking for all posts from someone who has it in his signature

just saw Lord of the Rings.. simply amazing

Well, my opinion is that the LOTR movie is overhyped because of the excellent book. Imagine nobody had known the book before the movie was made. I can't imagine that this movie would have been successful under these circumstances. In my opinion this movie is a good illustration of the book...

    I like speakers

Well, I also prefer my speakers when I'm at home alone. They're pretty good ones I chose carefully and spend a lot of money for. The need for headphone emerged when I met my wife, who doesn't exactly share my taste for music and even more since my daughter appeared on the scene 5 months ago...

How did everyone get into high-end personal sound? (headphones)

Well, I started rather early: OK, actually my first halfway decent portable headphones were some Sonys I bought for ~70$ many years ago, I don't even know their model number anymore. They broke a few years ago after heavy use, and I had a hard time finding a replacement. From the...
